Program Outline and Objectives

The Foundation in Business Management (FBM) offered by TIIKM Campus fulfills a vital educational need within the community. This program serves as a pathway for students awaiting their Advanced Level (A/L) examination results or those who were unable to complete their A/Ls, providing them with the opportunity to pursue higher education in business management.

The foundation program is designed to equip students with foundational knowledge and skills in business management, economics, accounting, marketing, and essential academic skills. By offering this course,

we aim to:

Bridge the educational gap for students transitioning from secondary to tertiary education.
Provide practical and theoretical knowledge in core business areas to enhance employability and entrepreneurial capabilities.
Offer a structured learning pathway for students to progress to advanced studies, specifically the IMSL Diploma in Business Management.
To provide students with fundamental knowledge of business principles and practices.
To develop essential communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
To prepare students for further academic progression into the DBM program.
To enhance students’ employability through practical and theoretical business knowledge.

Entry Requirements

A minimum of five (05) passes at the GCE Ordinary Level examination, including passes in Mathematics and English.
Students awaiting their GCE Advanced Level (A/L) results who wish to utilize their time productively.
Students who have not completed or did not qualify through the GCE Advanced Level (A/L) examination and seek an alternative route to tertiary education.
Individuals looking to gain a formal business qualification before entering the workforce or pursuing further studies.
