Program Outline and Objectives
Postgraduate Diploma Business Management (Final Level) offered by The Institute of Management of Sri Lanka (IMSL) prepares students to become successful business leaders who can thrive in the complex business world. The Institute of Management of Sri Lanka (IMSL) is the national apex body in the field of professional management in Sri Lanka, dedicated to promoting professional management in the country. IMSL was inaugurated on 31st July 1986 and was incorporated by Act of Parliament No. 67 on 17th December 1988. Today, IMSL is a full member of the Asian Association of Management Organizations (AAMO), as Sri Lanka’s sole representative in AAMO.

Students who successfully finish the Diploma in Business Management may progress to the next stage of our postgraduate diploma program. An Executive diploma in business management is the next step. Following this, you must finish two more diplomas to obtain the postgraduate diploma in business management.

Entry Requirements
- Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management (Final Level)
- EDBM complete + 3 year of managerial experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Management
- Bachelor's Degree in any other field
- Management Undergraduate students (3rd year or above)
- Higher National Diploma or Advanced National Diploma with 90 credits
- Ongoing HND or National Diploma + Senior Executive level 4 year of work experience
- A/L 3 passes + 10 years or above Executive or Managerial Level working experience
- Part qualification of a recognized Professional qualification + 10 years of Executive level or above work experience
- Ongoing Diploma in management or related field + 5 years of Executive level or above work experience
- NVQ Level 5
- Any other similar or above qualifications accepted by BOS of IMSL
